Reviews
One word: Wow.
This place has a dim atmosphere with an upbeat Vibe that's a little bit Urban and the friendliest most hospitable staff I have ever encountered. Mike was a great host. This place is great for a date night or a late night meal or lunch or a group of friends. They also deliver.
There were a lot of options from which to choose. There were even low carb options for those who might typically avoid noodle dishes. Contrary to a prior review, and as a plant-based person, there were plenty of vegan options. Not to mention, having tofu as an additional option adds to a great source of protein for the vegan options. You can add more veggies, tofu or whatever... They're happy to customize and make recommendations!
I had the Veggie pho with Zucchini noodles, which came with bok choy, carrots, sprouts, two slices of jalepeno (on the side) & Vietnamese mint (on the side). I went with my partner at about 10:45pm, and this was one of the best, healthiest, freshest meal a person could get this late at night... And filling!
Definitely would recommend!
Late lunch on a Sunday. No waiting for a table. Prompt service. Food was excellent. I had iced coffee, charred pork vermicelli and my dinning companion had the Tofu salad. Both dishes were delicious. Worth a visit!
Came in for lunch on a Thursday and the place filled up pretty quick! I enjoyed the food and would say this is a good Vietnamese spot in the Queen Anne area. It'll satisfy your cravings but isn't a place I would recommend to my friends. Something to keep in mind: the fish sauce was sweeter than most places (not sure if it was just this batch).
Chicken Salad ($13) - Not the authentic chicken salad I imagined but was still pretty good. Fish sauce was already drizzled all over so get this only if you're a fan of it.
Banh Khot CoBa ($17) - I loved the amount of lettuce and mints they give you. The mini "cakes" are very crispy.
Bun Bo Hue ($17) - The soup was flavorful.
Passionfruit Lemonade ($6) - The passionfruit seeds are larger than what I'm used to (if you don't swallow them whole then it might become tedious) and the drink was very sweet. I tried to dilute it by adding water but it was still too sweet.
I was so excited to go here but ended up little disappointed.
Plenty toppings, good service, nice atmosphere, many options on menu.
Bun bo hue was yummy but pho was not very good. We ordered a platter of fried dumplings. They are so so but way overpriced. We also tried pho cocktail. It was alright.
Food is worth going here for. Their drinks are surprisingly good and inventive. Strong too. Service definitely sucks from some employees but they are pretty busy and there doesn’t seem to be a lot of people working so it’s understandable. Definitely a long wait so get there early.
Was excited that they had oxtail pho, at midnight no less! Unfortunately the oxtail was inedible and tough, do not order this here! The broth was flavorful and the Vietnamese coffee was good. Had to flag down help to leave, but we liked the music. Would return for a standard bowl of pho.
I stumbled upon COBA a few summers ago when in desperate need of nourishment. To my surprise, their entire menu is almost gluten-free! I loved it so much I went twice in one weekend. It’s now a tradition if I’m anywhere near Climate Pledge that I stop in for their GF Crispy Rolls and Lettuce wraps. Healthy, fresh, and full of flavor. Highly recommend.
HOLY BANH MI!!!
I’m in love 😍 I was originally going to go in for Pho, but I when I saw the Pork Belly Banh Mi on the menu I had to have it!
The rolls were perfectly toasted, generously filled and bursting with flavor. And what the pho?!! A little side of peppery pho broth for dipping, like whaaa?!! Mind blown
